The days have grown shorter and the green colour-making <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Chlorophyll\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>chlorophyll<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong>now can\u2019t be made in the deciduous leaves enough.<\/p><p>The Northern Life-Force is increasing it\u2019s yearly withdrawal inwards (<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amcollege.edu\/blog\/yin-and-yang-in-traditional-chinese-medicine\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>yin<\/strong><\/a>) to gather resources and protect the plant-life, until next spring warms the soils and brings back the (<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amcollege.edu\/blog\/yin-and-yang-in-traditional-chinese-medicine\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>yang<\/strong><\/a>) light &amp; warmth.<\/p><p><strong>A good thing for us visual peeps<\/strong> because Late \u2018Autumn \u2019 or Fall as it is know in America, brings more harvest for our senses, with the rich colours - tones and shades of yellows, tans, oranges, deep reds, browns, of the deciduous leaves, free-falling to the ground.<\/p><p style=\"text-align:right;\"><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/rczbbnkrmf60yhso9w7oipzpcjsasxbxntifatzad6wjn69m.jpeg.jpeg?w=1140&amp;v=2\" alt=\"Fallen sycamore-maple leaves of October  | photo by Louise - Coralee's Pure Positives\" title=\"Fallen sycamore-maple leaves of October  | photo by Louise - Coralee's Pure Positives\" \/><em>Fallen sycamore-maple leaves of October <\/em><br \/><\/p><p><strong>Thoughts are of, when do the first frosts, kick in<\/strong>? Gardeners and farmers have been busy clearing the soil and preparing it for next growing season, before the earth is too hard to work. Organically speaking that might mean growing some cover crop that will be dug in to the soil early spring, burning cane prunings, that can\u2019t be used, and tidying fallen leaves for compost, or, creating new potting tables, raised beds, repairing paths, sheds and fences etc.<\/p><p>Personally we had already popped the old cover back on our poly-tunnel - so that we can store some repurposed palettes (unintentional alliteration lol) during the virgo rains and hopefully work these into a little fence, around one of the two allotments that we have in our family.<\/p><p><strong>During Virgo Season the Sun seemingly travels from the maiden\u2019s head to her feet - <\/strong>and so<strong> <\/strong>there are nut harvests, to be gathered and put out to market (Yes, the U.K. still grows and harvests some nuts) Pinecones, Holly leaves\/berries to be foraged for decorating. We have some eucalyptus branches doing well on a young tree we rescued. Maybe next year we could ask the tree for a few of those.<\/p><p>It\u2019s not too yet too late to pop some spring and summer bulbs in.  Generally, by now organised gardeners (we aren\u2019t them) will have those already sleeping snuggly underground, and the first spring bulbs may already be sending out their new roots for the year ahead. The first of which are the Muscari that have their long green leave bunches already well established. Same for new roots the new strawberry babies <\/p><p> And today, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Samhain\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Samhain<\/strong><\/a> Eve, I popped some more onion seeds in their trays, the previous trays undercover and popped the rest of the garlic cloves in their plot. Hoping for some succession planting here. <em>We won\u2019t be having any vampire types visit us tonight or next year.<\/em><\/p><p><\/p><p><em>See our <\/em><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pure-positives.co.uk\/collection\/getting-ready-for-autumn\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><em>Getting Ready for Autumn Collection<\/em><\/strong><em> <\/em><\/a><em>if you haven\u2019t seen it yet. And the frosts make sure the colourful leaves of Fall are pushed off the branches, and head to earth - many micro deaths that naturally re-feed the soil via decomposition by bacteria &amp; fungi. In nature\u2019s cycles, no death is in vane, no materials are wasted.<\/p><p>In our human natures, the translation of the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.5elements.com\/docs\/elements\/metal.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>METAL qualities of traditional Chinese medicine<\/strong><\/a>, equates approximately with the Air Element of western Astrology - the discriminatory \u2018sword of thought and communication\u2019 , condensing into watery emotions (foggy\/frosty responses) and embedded cellular memories (cold attitudes), or the cutting off of old habitual, neurological attitudes based on learnt fears, to release us from their bondage and bring us to a place of stability and contentment (letting old fears free-fall letting them RIP).<\/p><p>The body circuits for Metal Season are the Lung and large intestine energy Meridian pair. The lung is for pure new inspiration. And the Large Intestine purpose is to remove waste the body does not require for any purposes.<\/p><p style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong><em>The practical analysis of the last virgo-sun season, leaves us with new choices - what thoughts do we now spend our precious days on? What must we cut from our mental chatter by filling up the band width, with new inspirational thoughts?<\/em><\/strong><br \/><\/p><p style=\"text-align:center;\">Our thoughts of spring and summer can condense too, into happy memories and pleasant feelings, or, if they don\u2019t serve us well for our continual well being, growth and evolution, we can let them wither, by lack of focus upon on them - and let them go as lessons learned, to integrate and build upon, like the fallen leaves retuning to the soil, to be used as nutrients for next year. <br \/><\/p><p style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong>This short Libra-Sun Season (Nov 4 - Nov 22) brings us more opportunities for right-living, with another chance to rebalance the ways we communicate to other-than-self\u2026<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align:center;\"><\/p><p><strong>If we really LET GO of our habitual <\/strong><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.etymonline.com\/search?q=passionate\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>passionate<\/strong><\/a><strong> yearnings<\/strong>, for this thing we haven\u2019t got and that lifestyle we haven\u2019t achieved this year, our whiny \ud83d\ude2b selves can be released. Our thought radars and receivers can be reset \/ tuned to a station that supports our trueself ideals.<\/p><p>and we can \u2696\ufe0f balance our<\/p><ul><li><p>past fears of, \u2018we are not enough\u2019 or \u2018 they didn\u2019t give us enough\u2019<\/p><\/li><li><p>with our future anxieties of, \u2018I must have this, or that, to survive\u2019<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><br \/>into tranquil, harmonious appreciation of what we have been given already, what we actually have now, and be here in, and open to, the present, and we will find a quieter yet more powerful, gentle but progressive - practically inspired action, in the NOW, to get us through the cold days and nights of winter, or our next phase in life. We balance our fears and anxieties by listening in to our inner truths. How would we expect to be treated. Are we doing that for others. Are we giving someone the cold shoulder in times of need because of a past wound in our psyche? could we be true to ourselves. Allow our truthfulness be heard, seen, expressed but not worry if it isn\u2019t.<\/p><p>If we can, our inner beings can be relieved of excessive burden and worry and we can ASK calmly \u201cWhat can we do in our lives in the current moment, to be a little more, of our true-selves?\u201d <br \/>When we are our true-selves we are freed up to Be Truthful. we can share, give and support others, comfortably and enthusiastically, should they want to receive from us. And let them gently be, if they can\u2019t won\u2019t or don\u2019t.<\/p><p style=\"text-align:center;\"><strong>\u201cWhen our minds and bodies are clean, organised, tidy and calm, (virgo improvements ) we can listen-in, to the Collective Consciousness, \ud83d\udcad and find our unique place and purpose, and thus our joy in the NOW!<\/strong><\/p><p style=\"text-align:center;\">In western astrology, Libra is often symbolised by the scale of justice. But how do we receive justice?<\/p><ul><li><p>The one thing we have personal control over, are the inner thoughts that we choose to listen to, believe and act upon, and thus the communication that we choose to radiate out.
