Late Summer Energy<\/strong><\/h2><\/blockquote>

Anyone else feeling that little hit of Melancholy\u2026<\/strong><\/p>

that it\u2019s September already, that the summer\u2019s over, and where did the other seasons go anyway?<\/em><\/p>

The kids might be back at school, and maybe you had a summer vacation but now it\u2019s in the past and if you didn\u2019t, you are sadly thinking that you\u2019ve missed it for another year, BUT there\u2019s some ways to deal with that little \u2018Mel rascal\u2019.<\/em><\/p>

There\u2019s still play time left in the season!<\/strong><\/p>

And there\u2019s ways to stay connected to the present and not get depressed about the past :-<\/p>

(Available on our Emporium Store) In her \u2019Daily Dose of Such Fun\u2019<\/u><\/strong><\/a> mindful yet humorous, perpetual diary, our beloved national treasure, Miranda Hart says - for Sept 1st, page 129 -<\/strong><\/p>

\u201cThe shift into September can be tricky \u2026 so let\u2019s make a plan to look forward. Planning something makes you feel like you are in control and making some good, wholesome choices over your life.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

She suggests actually booking a future event, a few weeks, a couple of months ahead, to look forward to.<\/p>

I agree. I have felt the summer energy changing - after the BIG Heat comes the mists, and as it cools probably not too far on, some refreshing rains. Yes, the weather will get cooler but for some of us that\u2019s a blessing.<\/p>

As its our thing, we suggest you are up-to-date with long sleeved tees <\/u><\/a>in yours and their wardrobe, as a way of being ready for nice outings \/ and more playtimes. One\u2019s that fit the now taller, and longer armed and legged, originally little people, who have grown with all that fresh air sunshine and movement.<\/p>

By making sure they have the right clothing for the upcoming change of season, they can grab those still available dry days before the rains come and before it\u2019s chilly sweater weather. (And that goes for us tall people too.)<\/p>

These late summer, pre inter-season days (or Virgo Sun Constellation), can feel as lovely as spring days but with a different scenery. If we can get out of our problem-solving mind set, and into our curiosity thinking, we can go on little mini vacations every time we step outside.<\/p>

It\u2019s a wonderful mindfulness system, to check out the new seasons goings on.<\/p>

As Autumn ventures closer to us, we are are reminded of the delight that can come from observing nature\u2019s new season coming in, rather than becoming melancholily for the Late Summer having passed, seemingly, so quickly.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

We suggest finding age, or interest, appropriate spotters information, to take with you and go on late summer hunts for the miniature natural world enjoying the season.<\/p>

Investigate what\u2019s going on:- in the gardens; parks; public footpaths; fields etc, regarding the latest seasonal blooming, seeding, and harvesting. You can do this by yourself - I had a lovely half-hour (leg stretch) walk, over the Leo new-moon weekend, and spotted:-<\/p>

Hawthorn berries; Ivy flowers; hop vine flowers; new opening wild clematis flowers and those readying themselves for seed setting; and some dark berries I\u2019ve yet to name, in the hedgerows,<\/p>

I spotted some dahlias in the public foot path, an extension of someone\u2019s cottage garden.<\/p>

There\u2019s White Yarrow popped up in the playing field grass.<\/p>

And yellow calendula on my allotment along with hollyhock seeds, whilst there\u2019s orange calendula in Mum\u2019s garden. She, also, has coneflowers, and geraniums blooming and seeding<\/p>

OR, go with your children, family and friends and poke your nose into the tiny ivy or yarrow flowers, or see how high the hops grow.<\/p>

We at Coralee, hope that you can keep your focus in the present and in our own back yard, this way we can often discover little gems of interest right under our noses. Following the seasons we can see what happening now, and not be so concerned with what\u2019s left us.<\/strong><\/p>
